window adjustment

i puty a new power window motor on my passenger side door .now i have to "help" it up and down.i think it all in the adjustment.do you have any ideas?

There isnt anything you can adjust that will make the window go up or down faster. If the window is having problems going up and down than it can be caused by either something electrical or something mechanically. A bad motor, despite the fact that it is a new motor, can cause slow operation. It could also be the electrical connections in the switches. There can be to much friction or dirt on the slider that can cause the window to get hung a bit. And it could also be the cable binding somewhere in the system.

Uh... just check if the door panel clips along the top are not snapped on properly. #1 cause of window-bind on our cars is one of those clips coming off or getting wedged in at an odd angle, and binding up against the glass when you try to roll it up. Also make sure the glass is in the weatherstrip track where it's supposed to go... can sometimes slip a 'rib' forward and not close all the way, and ruin the weatherstripping in the process.. though that usually only happens if you had the window broken, and had to replace the glass.

Most likely just an interior door panel clip wedging itself up, as it's tricky to get them on and off cleanly.
