Are the front and rear kits Todd sells for our cars (i.e. the 13 x 1.10 front kit) the same as the brake kits Wilwood sells on their websites??

I believe the Wilwood kit uses smaller rotors. They have a catalog somewhere on their website, you can look it up.

same stuff, but Todd is responsible for the brackets and the hubcentric rings.

Personally, I have had excellent experiences with Todd over the years, and have purchased my replacements from him. His kit was easy to install, great quality, and we had excellent communication.

I am running Wilwood Forged Superlight 4-pistons on a 12.2"x0.81" directionally vaned rotor with the old-style aluminum hat, earl's stainless lines, and Wilwood "D" pads up front, and just stock rear rotors with 130K miles on them with metalmaster "green" pads and stainless lines.

The only upgrade I will do in the future will be 12.2"x0.81" scalloped rotors. It is more than plenty for me; I had to remove the ABS fuse because on my azenis or my hoosiers, because under moderate braking the ABS would kick in too early. Now with the Hoosiers and no ABS, it brakes great with excellent traction. I did have wheel lock-up issues in cold with the azenis with the abs fuse removed though -- just watch hard braking, and test your car's limits in a closed-course area.

The Wilwood factory kit (box kit as I call it) shares nothing with my kits but hoses if you get the kit from me. While it's a great street kit and a helluva bargain, the product is a bit on the smaller, lighter side.

The box kit is 12.2 x .81 with a radial mount DynaPro calipers. Great medium sized caliper. Easy install, decent pad size, nice weight reduction.

The TCE kits use Wilwood FSL or Forged SuperLite calipers. Available upon 13" rotors of various widths to aide different uses; street, drag, track etc. The FSL is much bigger, stiffer and has a much larger pad. With optional six pot calipers on different designs I think there's about half a dozen combos of these parts....that part kind of sucks from my end to remember how each is assembled.

If you want a good bargain upgrade go the box kit route. If you plan on specific use such as open track days you'll want the beefier parts.

I too picked up the Wilwood "boxed" kit from Todd. I had him substitute the kit rotor for a "beefier", directionally vented rotor & for street use I am extremely happy with this setup. I have used it for the past 2 summers & have yet to experience any break fade, with agressive high speed stops. They just bite harder the hotter they get. You could more then likely find there limits on an auto X course but on the street, street compound tires will be the limiting factor.
