Okay so before I royally screw something up Im gonna ask you guys. I dont know a whole lot about dsm's and I have a project here. Its a 1995 GSX with a 16g turbo on it. Ive fixed all the electrical and fixed a pulley problem it had but it still wont start. It will turn over and it is getting spark and fuel. I dont know where to look next anyone got any ideas for me? :banghead:

you dont just need spark and fuel you need air also, check the fuel pump relays on the walbro and check everything before ripping out timing that is a hassle. do a compression test and check the fuel pressure do a leak down test also if possible to check if your losing compression start with small things first and go with the big things, make sure you getting air to the engine also because fuel and spark is the main things you need but you also need air, check your starter fuse also it might be that, it will crank but wont turn over.

Yeah ill try and get to that soon I'm working tonight so I don't know if ill get to it untill atleast tomorrow. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Just aways remember air fuel spark thats what makes a motor turn! I would start with a compression test first and then go from there.

Wait, you have absolutely no compression?! You say the engine is actually turning over, right? The engine has to actually "chug" for you to get compression, obviously - if no cylinders are getting any and its doing this, you're doing the test wrong or you've got a serious issue..

This might sound stupid, but did you rule out your starter and battery by attempting to jump the car?

Sorry told my dad to write on here while I was messing with something else on the car and he put that. Its at about 30 psi for compression so its next to nothing on compression

If u still have no compression put about two caps of oil straight in to the head and put the plugs back in and try to start it. The oil will help out

I think Ive finally made the hard choice of taking it to someone. Its getting to be a litle bit to much for me. I am trying to juggle work school and working on the car so I found a good shop that'll do it for me the guy that'll work on it has a talon so he knows about dsm's. I'll fix it myself next time just no time to work on it now thanks for all the great advice guys
