Will this turbo set up, work, and be safe

Ok so i have a slowboy manifold with an external tial wastegate on it, i would like to keep it setup that way. I recently recived a rebuilt older style fp green, the internal flapper has been broken off, my question is, can i run thiz turbo with my current o2 housing (which has a wastegate block off) safly, my reason for asking is my current 20g has the flapper door welded shut, this fp green does not, so it will create a pocket of exhuast gas inbetween the internal wastegate port, and the o2 housing, i know this sounds confusing, so i pulled up a picture of my actual fp green, and an o2 housing along the same idea.

Will this over heat the o2 housing ?
Or will it be fine just like the 20g now with thr wastegate flapper welded shut? Thanks

IF your manifold has the flange for the wastegate than that will work perfectly fine. I'd pull the flapper shaft out and weld the hole for the shaft up though, just to clean it up a bit.

Ok so if i remove all the flapper hardware, it should be good? I know the wastegate will still function properly on thr manifold, my worry was the pocket of exhuast that will get stuck in between the internal wastegate port and my block off style o2 housing the o2 housing is a punishment and is 3/4 steel

No, that will be perfectly fine to run it like that.
