Hello to all. I found a timing belt for my 2G GST for sale brand new and very cheap. It says it's for a Mitsu. Eclipse 2.0 4 Cyl. (So, DUH!) and fits all Chrysler motors. The part # is M04667611 and I'm attaching a pic. I just wasn't familiar with the part # and I'm just looking for confirmation that it's the same belt. Any info is greatly appreciated guys! Thanks for your help.

Theres always a rule that you should follow with a vital part like a timing belt, you should always make sure its the right one for your vehicle, if you dont know or THINK that it is, dont use it. Another one is never buy and put on the cheapest or a cheap no name timing belt, its just asking for problems. I would only use a timing belt straight from the Mitsu dealership, or one of those kevlar ones I guess, but that would be it, Id settle for nothing less when it comes to my engine.

Agreed.

The guy that tries to save 35.00 on a T belt is the same guy that shits his pants when he finds out he has to drop 500-800 to have his head rebuilt and then the extra 35.00 for the better timming belt again. Funny how that works.
