I have a Magnaflow muffler on my car right now, and its too quiet. If i put a test pipe on(no emmisions) is that going to make the difference i want, or should i wate a long time to save up for custom straight pipe?

what size test pipe are you talking about? are you running stock dp and catback? i dont suggest you put on some 2.5" test pipe on stock pipsetting setting not worth it - save the money go 3"dp w/ 3"straight custom pipe or 3"test pipe.
youll want 3" later on.

but.. if youre on a budget and cant save up couple bills, go for it and get a testpipe. good gain for the bucks. gets louder and youll get a good power gain.

have you thought about just gutting the cat?

If you can go with a full 3" exhaust with a test pipe. I have a Magnaflow muffler on my car and a full 3" exhaust with no cat and it is loud enough to get attention from the wrong people.

stock cat is flanged, just pull it off and look inside, and just punch through all the filters inside. gl :thumb: i suggest you do it w/ a friend who has done this before.

if we are talking about best bang for the bucks, wouldnt gutting the cat/test pipe be a better option? VS dump o2?

what kind of gains are you getting from your o2 dump? can i hear some testimonials~

(i am not trying to highjacking this thread, just trying to provide more info for the starter plus learn something)

They are joking, just buy a test pipe, beucase theres no way your just gonna be able to pop the catty off. your gonna have to saw the bolts off. and when u get it off ur not gonna want ot put that ugly rusted old thing back up. so just get a test pipe for like 30 bucks. Best bang for buck exhuast would be the RnR exhaust systems..3" Mandrel Bent.
