Spyder Will OEM 97 GST fuel pump work correctly in 97 Spyder GS 2.4

I have an oem 97 gst fuel pump assembly and wanted to know if there is any issue using it with a completely stock 97 spyder with stock na 2.4 engine. The original tank was completely trashed and I bought the complete assembly with pump.

Should be fine.

The size of the pump doesn’t automatically change the amount of fuel being injected. All it does is increase the amount that can be supplied.

That was my understanding, as long as I have the correct pressure regulator it should function correctly. Thanks!
