I have a 6 bolt swap in a 95 gst. I was driving from Charleston to Charlotte. I drove bout 100 miles and the car started revving when i press the gas like it was in Neutral but i was still in 5th gear. Tried going to another gear and the same thing. I pulled over and the car will not start back up. I tried doing a push start and didnt work. The belts arent even turning the motor. Any help?

Check your timing belt, you may have jumped a couple teeth, in which case, you may be saying goodbye to your valves.

EDIT: Does the car crank over at all when you try to start it?

Ok and i was not running it hard at all. Didnt even take the boost pass 5psi but i was doing about 90mph when it started revving like it popped out of gear. But if the engine is being turned by the belts, is that a different problem?

I meant engine "ISNT" being turn in last post. and jumped timing? wouldnt i have heard some sounds when i revved it up? It didnt sound any different.

If the engine isn't being turned over at all I'd check the timing. You could have done something to the tranny too though.
