will not start

okay so ive got a tsi talon that has a few minor problems
first im leaking oil all over the intake manifold and a bunch of sensors

but my problem is starting the car
ive owned it for a few months and it has not started 8 or 9 times out of me owning it
i go to start it and either she fires right up or it sputers and does not start.there is a small miss or weird noise and then nothing the motor just turns over
but if i wait 20-30 minutes later the car will fire right back up

any solutions?

Did you check to make sure you are getting fuel and spark?

i just got it home off the tow truck it would not start when i went to leave school im about to pull the plugs and check

okay and before i poped the hood i thought it wouldnt hurt to try to start it and sure enough it fired right up

im assuming the motor was flooded out and would not fire before
does anyone have any ideas?

i figured it out and forgot to post on this but the coolant temp sensor was out telling the motor the wrong temp and giving the motor too much fuel.
