will a/t ecu work in m/t

okay on ebay there is a A/T ecu that i am wondering if it would work on my 5spd???

all 1g turbo ecu's are interchangeable even the 90 ecu but it would need a few pin changes to the harness. be aware though that the Auto ecu is expecting the 390cc injectors among other small differences (like maybe internal spark fuel maps but that you would have to search for)

it will work and if the car is stock it works damn well. i used an auto ECU in my FWD 5-speed and really didn't notice a difference. cept for the fuel trims but they tend to vary a bit from ecu to ecu on the same car anyway. no driving abnormalities

Seeing as you ave the 90 DSM you will have to change out some pins if using a 91-94 ecu but there are detailed how to's in this forum HERE is one i found but there are others i'm sure as this has been done quite a few times. also make sure it's Turbo ecu as some don't write N/A or Turbo. i almost didn't check and bought an n/a ecu. i forget these cars came N/A
