will a 97 turbo engine wok in a 95?

I am asking this cause I know the ecu and wiring harness are different. So will I have to find a 95 engine or will a 97 work.

A 97' will work because I have a 99' in mine I bought it like that though so i'm not sure the exact process to tell you, they didn'd change the harness though, so youll just have to eliminate certain sensors and such.

the difference is that the 97s and 99s are identical, 95 and 96 motors are different.

Yes it can be had, but don't ask me how because the owner before me did it.

You misunderstood me, read it twice first
I have a 1995 GST with a 1999 engine in it, i still have the 1995 ecu and harness.
