Will a 97-99 oem eclipse bumper look good on my talon?

I was looking at the ebay ones and they're so cheap so im thinking about picking one up. I'm just wondering if it will look decent on a stock 95 talon body or do i need the side moldings as well?

I like the looks of the 97-99 eclipse side skirts better but I think the 95-96 talon side skirts still look pretty good as they match up height wise, where the 97-98 talon doesn't have any side skirts which I think look like crap with the lower front end. Here's a pick for you to look at. I think you can make your talon lights work but they are a different size compared to the eclipse lights. To complete the look I'd switch to the 97-99 eclipse headlights as well, as they look much better .

your foglights won't fit and you would have to buy 97-99 headlights if you want it to look decent.

No foglights are totally different. As far as the headlights go, you can make the Talon headlights fit (I believe the Talon headlights are longer, towards the middle of the car) but for a 100% proper fit you would want the Eclipse headlights as well.

the 97-98 talon front bumper is the best looking stock bumper for any year eclipse or talon. its so aweome, basically looks looks like a bodykit without having to go with sideskirts and rear bumper....very hot

I think talons look the best with the 95-96 side skirts, and the eclipse front bumper. I think the 97-98 talon bumper is overrated unless the vehicle is lowered..course the 97-99 eclipse front end conversion is overplayed too.

will the eclipse front bumper fit without modding it? i mean the mounting only, not the fog lights.

I purchased projector headlights for my 95 talon and they don't fit right, theres a gap and it needs the new style bumper, just wondering if i got the bumper if it would bolt right on.

the hood looks like it may sit on the bumper a little different, since the 95 headlights are longer and swoop down farther on the inside, the new headlights slant down quicker, and the hood may look weird.

so is the hood the same?

Yes the hoods are the same. Look at the white talon above with the eclipse front bumper. All he did was stick a front bumper on. I have done the same thing and my old hood was bad so I picked one up from an eclipse a few years newer(like a 97) and it fit perfect on my 95 talon. It's a very simple swap, just take it off and put the new one on. And for a 97-99 eclipse bumper you need the 97-99 eclipse headlights to make sure there is no extra gap or overlay. Here's a little tip 97-99 eclipse bumper=97-99 eclipse headlights only. 95-96 eclipse/95-98 talon front bumper=95-96eclipse or 95-98 talon headlights, so pretty much whatever kinda of front bumper you need get that style of headlights and it'll work good. . happy bumper swapping, it looks kickass and also big front mount well someday!

buddy of mine on BC DSM has a 2G Talon with a 97 Eclipse front bumper (& headlights) 97 Eclipse side skirts. It looks sick!
