the non turbo tranny is a little bit faster than the fwd turbo tranny but not as strong ... as far as swapping engines ... if it is n/t to n/t then it should be pretty easy ... n/t to turbo swap can and will be harder. mainly because of all the things needed like wiring harness, ecu, plus all the turbo parts , ect ... i (at one time many years ago) looked into turboing my 92 gs but decided against it. i just bought a 92 tsi fwd instead (for $500) and rebuilt the engine.Originally posted by turbo90gsx
why would you want to put a 1.8 tranny on a 2.0? is there different ratios that are better, or what? im curious, because i was thinking about doing a 2.0 swap in my brothers 1.8. is it posible to do this?
