Will 3000gt VR4 2pot REAR calipers/rotors bolt onto a 2G?

1g 3000gt vr4 rear calipers and rotors are not a direct bolt on for a 2g DSM.

The rear 2g ebrake backing plate needs to be trimmed and washers are need to space the caliper out correctly. You have to remove about half the height on two of the brake shoe pads for proper clearance and lightly grind a few spots on the caliper bracket itself.

I have rear 1g 3000gt VR4 calipers and rotors on my 2g. They are larger rotors and bolt on perfectly. You need to trim your dust shields is all
But does the ebrake work as it should ? And like they said above that there would be a few mm of unused brake pad?
