Will 245/40/18" tires fit my 2G???

I have a 98 gsx lowered 2" will 245/40/18"s fit with any problems i have 235/40/18"s now and they seem fine!!

You will need to gather a lot more information, like the offset of the wheel you want to use, and the tire specs from the manufacturer.

Once you get that go to the DSMTuners Suspension FAQ and click on "More Knuckle Clearance Detail". Use this to calculate your clearance from the inner knuckle.

If you have coilovers that allow you to adjust ride height, this could help (somewhat) with the fit.

Once you have that complete, you will know what will fit. Based on the tire specs (width), you may or may not need to roll your fenders in the rear.

my rims are 42mm of set!! Can u do it for me im all screwed up?? !

I can tell you right now that +42 offset with what you wanted to run will not work. You would need a smaller tire, 225/40 or so to fit that wheel on your car.

Ok can you do up the 235/40 18"s that what s on it now. but all in the inside of the front ones are wore right of, Would it be because its rubbing??? Thansk alot man!

Only way to check for rubbing is if you can see it rubbing. The inside is probably worn because when you had the car aligned, they put in some negative camber to tuck that 18" wheel inside the wheel well. The inside of the tire will tend to wear out faster than the outer edge if you have excessive negative camber in the rear.

Im goin to take it tommorow and get it lined up ok!!! ANd then we will see what happens from there on a side note any one have some 235/40/18's for sale??
