I always thought bling factor was rice factor on a sport comp, LOL. My god, even 19 is way 2 much, i wouldnt get anymore then a 17 and never anything that weighs more then the stock wheel, i followed that guidline with my rims. That 19 is gonna slow you down, and mess your car up, its gonna add weight for sure. If it was a N/A i can see getting extra stuff for looks thatll slow you down, but you have TSI, why mess it up?

I got 18's on mine that are half the weight as the stock rims.:D

save the dubs for your SUV...Talons are meant for speed, not bling :talon:

i actually think 20's WILL fit..... however... i could be mistaken, since my car is a 1g.... i currently run the stock rubber, i forget if its 205, or, 215 60 , 16....either way they are pretty close. my car is dropped about 2 inches max, maybe a little less, anyway i still have plenty room for more drop, i always thought to myself "damn i could probably fit the 20s off my truck on there" not that i ever would.... but i have no problems with my current drop on stock tires which should be about 25.7 inches... a 245 35 20 is about 26.8 inches, so you're adding about a half inch to the top and bottom of the wheel, which would only raise your car another half inch, but with my current drop i could still come down another couple inches to make up for it. it would look ridiculous IMO, however i think it would fit. the biggest problem its that 20x8 is really the smallest you can get a 20 in, and those are hard to find, 20x8.5 and 20x9's are the most popular.

hey man, take into consideration...those 20's are going to fill up your wheel well, but they're also gonna have your car sitting a good 1/2-1 foot higher off the ground....all these guys around here that are rolling impalas and caprices and what not with 20+ inch rims, they're $hit looks ridiculous cause they're car is sitting as high as alot of full sized 4wd trucks....if you are gonna ride 20's do yourself a favor, take the car to someone with a torch or welder and just cut the damn wheel wells out and put an air bag suspension on the car....I PERSONALLY would NEVER do this to a HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORTS CAR(I'll never have rims any bigger than 16") but hey, whatever floats ya boat....

uhhhh.... did you mean 1/2 - 1 inch???

20's on a DSM is definately overdoing it 19's are sweet......
For those who are crying  about big wheels and "bling" and 20's are only for rappers, stop being jealous. People buy things cause they like them if you don't like big wheels go get some 15's. dunno if you noticed but alot of cars are coming with 20's from the factory.

19's

You don't get bigger wheels to reduce wheel gap, you lower the car moron. Getting bigger wheels would just make your car look like a pick-up truck.

Yea....Well maybe you don't know much about cars . I have seen BMW's, Mercedes',and Cadillac's that came with 20's maybe some others. So maybe you need to get out a little more...

And not a single one of them is a sports car. You just proved that 20s don't belong on a sports car, they only go on a luxury car. Good job :thumb:

Lol a 6speed BMW M3 isn't a sports car???? Where the hell are you from???? Plus my arguement isn't that 20's and sports car's are a great mix for performance. It's just that they can look Good. so you can stop cryin about "20's don't belong on sports cars" i never said they belong.

No company who makes a performance car puts over weight 20 inch wheels on it.20s dont belong on a car that was manufactured specifically to go fast. What size wheels does an Evo have?,Mustang?,Viper?,350z?,Vette?,RX-8?,Supra?None of those cars came with 20s and none of them should have 20s.Why?Because it would affect performance. You want less wheel gap lower your car.And yes I do know about cars, and performance cars are my life so dont go there.:rolleyes

Like i said 3 times before i DON'T think 20's are made for sports cars either. Lol You keep arguing that to me but i already agreed with you many many posts ago. You said "None came with 20's" i just named a few. I love all of you guys!!!!

The ONLY thing I know of that comes FROM THE FACTORY with 20's is the Ford F150 Harley Davidson edition.....

I think the newer Rams do too, two guys on my baseball team got new Rams in a fairly short timespan and one had 20's and the other had I think 22's, with the Dodge logo on them.

20 inchers on a sport car are kinda ricey don't ye think? 18inch is the limit for good performance unless you happen to drive a porsche carrera GT. This issue has already been thouroughly discussed over here. This guy had an almost completely stock N/A Eclipse with the chyrsler engine and not only got into 2Fast2Ricey but also blew $200 worth in stickers on the car and got 20's and 3 SPOILERS. This is the definition of riceyness. This is what you must strive to avoid.

In my personal opinion, VOLKS are forged lightweight, and ultra trick. Its better to spend money on a set of small lightweight VOLKS that will be admired by all than a bunch of huge monstrosities.

You want some advice for wheel size. Read this interview with the ADVAN wheels designer. Advans are tiiiigghhht

there is a guys with 20s on his spyder.. yes they fit hear alot of rubbing and you have to roll the wheel wells in a bit.

19 is the biggest youd probably wana go with a super stiff suspension.(if you are into looks)

id suggest staying under 18s if you still want some performance... i personaly wouldnt go over 17" (just to fit nice brakes on thats the only reason)
