Hey guys, just wondering, should I go with a 3" gm maf with translator gen2, or safc with a data logger? I need a temporary light tune untill I can eventualy buy dsmlink v3 with an eprom ecu. Another question, I'm looking into getting injectors, would 650's be too much for my 190lph waly? or will they over run it? thanx in advance

i've seen dsm run with only the gm maf-t to tune on bigger inj./fuel pump going 20 psi. safc and gm maf-t are good to tune those size injectors. make sure its tune right. logger is also good to see what's happening inside the motor. with all that i would just get link.

650cc's are good depending how high hp you want. more fuel, more power + tuning.

Just save up for Link unless you can find what you are looking for for dirt cheap. No sense in buying multiple times. Just my $0.02

650s will be fine with the 190 pump however. If you are getting link, bigger the better for future goal.

The downside with both is the MAF will "change" tune with the weather and the SAFC becomes harder to "tune" the larger the injectors are. It seems that a lot of people run both so you get your major adjustments from the translator and fine tune it with the SAFC.
