wich catback should i get?

Im currently looking for exhaust/catback for my GST, and iv'e got too many options, and some advice from you would be appreciated.

and what prices should i look for, brands etc.

im also looking for a new intake, fmic (godspeed/KoSpeed) and a new BOV.

maybe look to see if you can find a thermal r&d catback exhaust i personally love them

The catback that's cheap off of ebay doesn't sound to bad. If it were me I would save a get a nice muffler and down pipe. And take it to a shop and ask then to make the mid section of the exhaust. It's a cheaper alternative over buying a turbo back exhaust. And for the intercooler and bov, I would get the ssac intercooler kit. And pick of a 1g bov, don't get a off brand bov they are junk.

Megan or theraml exhaust. Punishment FMIC and 1g bov. Like said either don't cheap out on a bov.

The SRS exhaust is also a pretty cheap stainless exhaust on ebay.

Punishment is VERY close to bolt on. No kit will be complete bolt on and I loved my punishment kit. For a 1g bov look in the classifieds. There's always a couple for sale.

I have that forge on my car. I wouldn't get a vta bov unless you're going to be running speed density or gm maft. It will not run right. Forge makes a replica 1g recirulated too. I love my forge, holds 30psi all day.

but how do i fit a 1g bov to my 2g? weld it on?

If you get a FMIC kit it will come with all new piping and you just select the option for 1g bov when buying it. Or if you're keeping the stock garbage piping for some reason, there are 2g to 1g bov adapters.

i aint keeping no crap i have searched for 1g bov, but the one with recirculations are hard to come by, so might buy a new one.

anyway, spring is coming very soon, and then there will be alot of changes to the car, and hopefully, everything will fit

just one last question: can i fit a FP intake to the stock turbo, in wich case, what size of rubber housing do i need? 4"-2.25"?

Yes, but it's not recommended. It creates a lot of turbulence going from such a big area a funneling to the 2in. Just look into getting something like the Injen intake or something similar and a good filter.

Didn't think of that one . I ran a thermal for many years, that muffler sound's awesome at every rpm.

I run a thermal R&D exhaust. Loud but very deep and sounds amazing. I also have a Pubishment FMIC kit and it looks and fits amazing. As for a blow off I am running a recirculated Tial Q. All the parts I listed aren't much more than ones you are looking at and are better in quality. It's better than hearing "eBay this, Megan that, Godspeed blah". Don't be cheap if you are building your "dream car". It's kind of like building a dream home but using tarp on your roof instead of shingles..

I recently bought a Thermal exhaust, I have to get the midpipe repaired before it gets put on the car. Should be put on soon. Everything I've heard about them is great. You should be able to score a used Injen intake for cheap and I'm personally running an NGR BOV. It's an improved version of the Greddy Type S.

Id day to get a HKS turbo-back, Punishment Racing front mount and shop around for a good name brand bov.... i have 2 greddy type s 1 for each dsm and it sounds and holds great
