I run a PTE Large core, and have had no problems over the years, very efficient, minimal pressure drop, and great quality.

Can you please give me your reference of pte intercooler twicks69???
PTE is precision turbo????

Can you please advised me for diameter of piping?

thanks

You will likely be running 2.5" or 3" intercooler piping. There is no kit made for them, since it will be custom for every application, especially in your circumstance and will depend on several variables. You will be best off if you can have an experienced shop in your area fabricate custom intercooler piping for your application out of Aluminum, thin-wall mild steel, or stainless steel.

The PTE intercooler I am referring to is Precision Turbo and Engine. Here is their website link for intercoolers:
Precision Turbo & Engine - Turbocharger, Intercooler, Fuel Injector, Performance Parts & more!

The intercooler you want would be one of the last two intercoolers on their list ranging from 31" to 34" wide, 3.5" thick with 2.75" inlet/outlet connections on the endtanks. Custom bracketry will need to be fabricated to install on your car, and the intercooler piping will also need to be fabricated for your application.

Both intercoolers are good pieces, but will require you to do fabrication. The ETS intercooler is a kit, but will likely require some custom piping to be fabricated for your setup since their kit is generally sold to customers with smaller setups that utilize 2.5" to 3" intercooler pipes.

Do you have the description of what turbo you will be running, along with engine modifications, etc. so I can give you more information as to where to look for the proper parts?

800HP is not an easy task, and some of your parts will require custom fabrication, hence why I recommended the Precision Turbo and Engine (PTE) intercooler core, and you end up fabricating the pipes.

What standalone engine management are you running? AEM EMS, MoTeC, Hydra, Haltech, Autronics, etc? If none have been picked yet, I would suggest using a standalone that removes the MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) and replaces it with a speed-density setup that uses a MAP (Manifold absolute pressure sensor), and AIT (Air Intake Temperature sensor), as it will be easier to tune by a professional on a dyno.

Please respond back with a list of modifications so that we can properly deduce what parts you actually need, and what parts you are missing.

Thanks!

DGajre777 - the ETS FMIC would be fine for your application. What turbo are you intending on running? SMIM? Exhaust Manifold? Throttle body?

I wonder how my post jumped to # 1. I didn't start the thread, I think it was rev's that did. I don't even have a 1G.

Again, there have been a few by that guy today that the first post has been deleted. I know his english is not the best, but he is from a different country.

I thought you had a 2G, and that you didn't need help like this... :D ROFL

I have similar goals and I chose a SBR race fmic which has been proven to cool and flow good enough to support 900+whp. A IC choice is easy when making a 800whp car it's everything else that's hard LOL. I think even a ebay IC with 2.5" piping that is 24x12x3.5-4" core would do just fine.
