Why Wont My Gsx Start W/o Jump????????

I HAVE A 90 GSX AND IT HAS MANY UPGRADES. IVE CHANGED THE BATTERY AND THE ALTERNATOR..SEVERAL TIMES..i HAVE A FUEL PUMP HARDWIRED....I HAVE A CD PLAYER...s-AFC...GREDDY PROFEC B BOOST CONTROLLER...AND APEXI BOOST GAUGE AND 6X9 HOOKED UP..BUT I DONT THINK ANY OF THOSE ARE DRAINING THE POWER....cOULD IT BE MY STARTER...CAR WILL START IF IT IS JUMPED ....I HAVE CHANGED BATTERY TERMINALS...GROUNDS...I THINK IVE TRIED EVERTHING BUT ITT WONT EVEN CRANK...ITS JUST DEAD...WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS THING???PLEASE HELP

I think it may be because your keyboard is stuck in the CAPS LOCK position, and it makes it sound like you are yelling. Plus it just gets annoying. Thats my suggestion.. -jam

It's probably because you have you fuel pump hard wired.

I really dont think it has to do with it.... hmpf well check the grounds behind the battery that clamp to the fire wall mine fell off and wouldent hold a charge/start

Start pulling fuses. Check after each one to see if it drains your power. Eventually you will get to the system that is at fault.

the same thing happened in my cousins celica. would not start without a jump. rplaced the battery with a new one. drove it back home, shut it off, came back to turn it on and nothing. found out that the battery cable to the battery post was just loose. check your cables!

I hcecked all of those things and YES I WILL USE CAPS when im yelling cuz im pissed off at the ####in car..but ne1 think it could be the started everything else has been checked

that's a diy on troubleshooting power drainage
i have the same problem, only pullin the fusible link titled BATT will stop the drain, i asked for a scematic for that system, but no one here seems to have one

LouD, do you realize that you double posted? well anyway... no you wont use caps when you yell, its against froums policy and will get you banned if you do it excessivly

i doubt it could be the "starter" since it actually starts when you jump it

i think its the hard wired fuel pump, unless you got like a 4000w stereo system with an outrageoulsy power hungry head unit

did this happen just one day when u went out to start the car or did this happen after somethin unusal, i ran over a median adn that's when my problem started (i probably have a pinched wire or something) maybe the same for u

Is your alternator fuse blown? If you haven't already, charge the battery, and clean the battery posts. Then put the terminals back on and make sure they are tight. What is the car doing? What happens when you turn the key? Any power at all? Did you install anything new to it right before it started acting up?

I have a 90 tsi same thing happened, first I put in a new battery, then when that didn't work I put in a new alt, still didn't work. It was the starter it had a bad spot in it, it would start my car but when ever the car was off it would drain the battery.
