Im using MMCd and at WOT i get between 19*-32* of advance as soon as i let off it jump to 42* Im getting no knock and my O2 readings are between .52-.78. Ive only had an S-AFC in for one day and am still learning how to tune it. Right now everything is set at 0 till i do more reading. Also does anyone have a good starting point for the S-AFC for me its a 90 tsi With a turbo back 2.5", ported 2g exhaust mani and O2 housing, a High pressure headgasket, ARP's and and running stock boost creeping to 14 or so. I also have the vacumme hoses removed. Any help is appreciated.

well i was messing around ith it today and have gotten the safc down to -9 at 1000 and up 1 all the way across. I still have no knock and 22* of advance at WOT. Should i keep going lower? My O2 reading is at .82-.65 and i dont wanna blow anything up but i am not etting any knock like i said.

Your AFC should be called an "Air Fooling Computer"

What it does is takes air away from the signal going into the ecu. So the ecu adds less fuel.

It is an easy way to make the ecu add less fuel for bigger injectors.

What it doesnt take into acount is the ecu controls other things with the use of the airflow reading. One of them is timing, If the ecu doesnt see a lot of airflow it will have some pretty high timing numbers.

Normally the timing shown at idle and cruise shouldnt be anything worth looking at, because the ecu will control them.
