A story to make you SMILE!
In these “Modern” times, things just don’t happen like they used to, but this week, you would have thought that we were back in the 70’s or so.

Here is my story for all to read/hear.
I ordered up a fresh crank for my 6 bolt last Friday for a fresh 6 bolt build, but the vendors price hadn’t been updated and I didn’t quite pay enough to cover the actual cost, as the manufacturers price had went up but the vendor didn’t know it. I got a very polite email from the vendor explaining the price increase and I asked if they didn’t mind “HOLDING” that order until this Friday, payday, and I could pay the balance, that was around $80 dollars. The vendor was so kind, he offered to go ahead and get the order to the crank company, shipped and I could pay when I got paid. That was SO KIND of the vendor to offer that, but I graciously declined and told him that I would get square with them in just a few days since I don’t like “owing” anyone anything. That is the kind of thing that you just don’t have happen anymore, and rightfully so. I was shocked that the offer was even presented to me.

NOW......If that wasn’t enough of a morale booster (I really smiled when that offer was made), I get an email from the vendor yesterday that said an anonymous person had paid off my balance and they were shipping my crank and small parts out yesterday……wait……what???????? When was the last time something like that happened to anyone else, let alone me? The answer………..it just doesn’t happen anymore. Even the vendor was very surprised and pretty much said the same thing.

SO……..this is the story of DSMTuners, the best dam forum for car guys and gals, where we all look out for one another and are helpful! That is so uncommon from most forums/social gathering places now days.

I want to THANK THE VENDOR AND THE ANONYMOUS MEMBER for their kindness and generosity and know that I will NEVER forget this, EVER!!!
I am intentionally not mentioning names here also, out of respect.

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! (and I owe ya for that)

That is awesome!! I'm glad there are still good things that happen to good people. I to recently had a great thing happen to me. A member on this forum found a whole interior I needed, 16 hours away from me. He pulled that whole interior and it's sitting in his garage right now waiting to be shipped to me. This forum is awesome and if I can help anyone in anyway I try to. I try to be as polite and appreciative as I can, we are all in this game together.

It is a "family" of likenesses Jesse. I have sent parts out before just because someone needed it and couldn't find it or I had spares that I didn't need.
This action was FAR beyond what I have done and I had to tell the whole group about it, the folks behind all of this deserve the pat on the back!

Glad the friend who mentioned it to me got it to a good home though. Im definitely a bit jealous, but I already have a "rare" interior myself so I cant be too upset
