What have you done to try to correct the knock? I would turn the boost down a couple psi and see if it goes away.

could i be too rich what do my afs look like what is o2 trim and what else can I log to figure this out

being rich won't cause you to knock, lean-ness and timing will cause you to knock. We should have more log data such as your TPS and MAFS to gauge how much air you're flowing. Based on your o2's i want to say you're running pretty lean. I used to shoot for a .96/.97 with my 3000gt to try to keep knock at bay.

Your tune I think is just a little off.

What is your TIMA at those points where you knock as well?

One thing you can do is go into the tuning/ log advise forum and look at other peoples logs and just read read read. You can see what they are logging and what a good log should look like. Once you are at WOT your timing should bump gradually and stair step up to about 20 something degrees (not sure for a 2G). if it drops down (15 16 17 16 18) The drop is when you knock and you need to add fuel at that rpm range. Good Luck

It's not that timing is getting better. It's that you are hiding airflow from the ecu and it's giving you more timing (i'm assuming you are using an afc).

Actually, being overly rich can cause knock. Though, I would suspect a lean condition as well. Turn the boost down a few PSI, and try to get a good run in without knock. Then, with a good base tune, bump the PSI up and go from there. And as far as relying on narrowband O2 sensor readings to tune your car, I wouldn't recommend it. Narrowband O2's are good for reading a stoic. mixture, and that's it. If you want to do some real tuning, get a wideband.

k ill try dropping the boost and richening it up a bit n post another log this tim ill do rpm, timing, airflow, tps, and 02.

I logged a lot of things so my logs are almost useless

Also would a vented bov do this? Also I just noticed when the engine is cold, it seems to misfire or somthing, it misses. It stops for awhile then when its warm and cruising itll stop n go like Im misfiring, I stopped and listened closely to the exhaust and could hear a slight misfire in the note. Could this be doue to my a/f's? Ill pull the plugs and let you guys know what I see, heres the logs.

The plugs looked ok. Looks rich at low rpm and lean athigh rpm to me heres a pic (a lil blurry), and a video of the spark test, 2 & 4 wanted to arc together for some reason.

i dunno if this makes a differance but I am doing these runs in 1st gear because I have an automatic and the speed limit around here is 45 for the next hour away......

1st and 2nd gear don't have enough load to get accurate data in my opinion. Worse comes to worse, you will need to hit up the track on a test and tune night so you can get some good data.
