Langley,
just wondering what kind of performance gains can be seen from using either the GM MAF with Translator or the S-AFC on the NA DSM's. Or, more importantly do either ones even work on the NA models?

I'm thinking I may get the GM MAF and translator in order to open up the intake air flow and have some kind of tuning ability with the translator. I would also get a wideband AFR gauge at the same time.

i KNOW the s-afc works,i had one in mine but am going a different route(maft).I think the maft will work, you just have to hard-wire it in and fudge with the settings more.Ive been told the 7th wire on a turbo maf is just for the fuel pressure reset or something, and isnt really important.
I didnt notice any difference with the s-afc,but then again,im still mostly stock while getting my turbo 6 bolt ready to drop in.
