eBay Motors: 90-94 Eclipse Turbo FMIC Intercooler+Piping Kit 4G63/1G (item 230222510179 end time Feb-22-08 23:33:55 PST)

I can get this for $250 shipped.I was looking at the cheaper one ($190 shipped)but it dont have a good pic of the core so i believe its tube & fin.I know but i want fresh input on this.So far mods are
fp manny,b16g,660s,6 bolt,2g mas,safc,wb02,full 3" exhaust on a full weight 91 awd automatic.

Now dont go asking if i have a walpro-of course i do Im just giving you an idea on where my car is at.

I figure the injectors and turbo are well matched(750s would be best but oh well)and im ready for a fmic at this point.The main reason i like this kit is that the piping is only 4 pcs.
I used a i/c piping kit off ebay for my stang and it blows the hoses off every time i get 20-22 psi.I dont wanna go that route again.And its a bar and plate so i can get a 20g later and this will still be ok to run right?

I would say this car will make it to 350-400hp in its lifetime but id be happy with 300 with this current set-up,what ya think?

I run basically the same core with my own piping, which i would urge you to do the same. The core is great, and my intake temps were fantastic.


The included pipes are not beaded, so you will have a tough time getting them to stay together.

Also, i got a "universal pipe kit" from ebay, and they pictured and advertised T bolt clamps, but sent regular worm gears.

My ebay intercooler looks identical to that one. Except it's only 2.5" wide and 9" tall. I pushed my small 16g to 36 lbs/min with pumpgas and no water/alky injection.

I got my intercooler and piping from the same guy. He has 2 stores CXracing.com or ETD motors (on ebay) Great quality, bead rolled edges, thick pipes and 3-4 ply couplers (depending on size) He has universal piping kits, specific car kits, and he used to have a mix and match kit. I was able to choose the bends and sizes I wanted. I don't see it on ebay any more, but he might do it if you ask. I had him replace 3 of the 6 pipes in the kit with 2 90* silicone elbows, got a couple extra t bolts for like $2 ea and some 2- 2" to 2.5" reducing silicone couplers in place of regular couplers. It was a sweet deal.

I got lucky searching through ebay and found a seller who had short route piping for $65 + $15 for shipping. Jumped on it quick b/c I knew he didn't know what the piping was worth. It came flanged for a 1g bov, with silicone couplers, and t-bolt clamps. Now those same piping kits are like $120 shipped. Then I bought a j-pipe and had my front mount setup for just under $300.
