Who wants Door Sill Plates??

Hello,

I am from * * * we make custom parts, graphics, and sell performance parts. We have designed some door sill plate and would like to see if you guys would be interested in having them for your DSM's

They could say Eclipse, DSM, Talon, etc. Let us know what you think and we might become a vendor on this site.

Here are some pics of the ones for the SRT-4. They are $90 a set with logos engraved in them.

These woul look a little different than the stock ones. The 2G's do not have any like that. At leaset my Talon does'nt.

i think its a good idea for the 2g's. the 1st gens already have metal plates but the 2nd gens only have plastic. i say yes for the 2g.

They look good, but I'm interested in how they install? 3m adhesive? Or will they snap in like the stock plastic pieces? $90 seems a little pricey in my opinion if it just sticks on. I'd like to see a set that says ECLIPSE in the factory font. Like the center tail light. I'd probably buy that.

me too,,
I take mine off too much for wiring issues,, to want to deal w/ adhesive everytime. IF they can be semi durable and snap on easily then im in.

will they totally replace the plastic piece ? also can you etch the middle out so you could put a lite strip underneath it ? i was gonna do that to my factory one's, etch out the middle and have TURBO lite up when i hit the unlock button what do ya'll think ?? cheesy or :laugh: cool ?

That sounds pretty cool but you wouldn't be able to see it when the door is closed, correct?

Maybe make one that has an Eagle logo and says TALON and 1 with a Mitsu logo that says ECLIPSE. Making a variety won't keep cost down. I just dunno if I'd like it if it just said DSM. If you don't mind, maybe make a few or just engrave some stuff on some scrap metal to show us how it could look. It'll take some time from you, but it will get you some customers if you impress.

my thoughts exactly, if you do both talons and eclipses, youll get alot more business, because there is just as many talon than eclipses if not more!!

I'd probably buy them if they said Mitsubishi, or Eclipse, but I'd like some that said Turbo. Would prefer a plastic surround (black to match my car's trim, hehe) with brushed metal plate insert with the engraving.

Would be killer to have them light up like on an sl500... nice blue glow, hehehe.

looks tight but im gonna go with no ...i dont see how u woule replace the plastic that is there u take it out and ur cars gonna be revealing some wires ...i believe...if there was a way around that id be up for it but we dont really have the same door jams as srt4's they have room...we dont
