Well i was doing a canyon run last week with a RX-7 club and my car has had massive amount of chassis flex. So i dont want to spend more than $100. I was thinking maybe the RRE or Greddy...any other opinions:confused:

Well personally I think all strut bar work and performs the same way, I had one but took it off because I had no battery tie down post

The Ractive bars are actually very good considering their price of under $45. I have been happy with mine.

Got my strut bar off ebay (buy it now)from an actual business(forgot the name)....paid 25 bucks shipped. Its nothing fancy..just chrome but it works great. do a search on ebay and im sure you will find these guys

I've got Ractive up front and in the rear. I could feel a difference. I won't say they are as good as other products out there because I don't have a clue. I can't imagine other ones performing that much better, but I'm a straight line guy so I really havn't looked into it.

If I was looking for the best, I would think RRE would be up there.

Yah about the strut bar, do you simply just unscrew the bolts and slap it on? Or does the strut have to be removed?

Sorry never used one before:confused:

Just unscrew the bolts and put it on. The shocks don't have to be removed.

I bought cheapy strut bars front and rear for my car, I didn't notice too much of a difference with just a front strut bar, but it was more stable when it hit bumps the ride was smoother, when I added the rear I felt a bigger difference in turns..I recommend getting both if you do get strut bars.

I'm a proponent of the eBay specials.

Mounting them's gravy, six bolts. The rears get a bit more involved if you trim the plastic and do a neat job, but the actual bar mounting is still simple. The rear does become a bit of a nuisance when it's grocery time, and I had to put bumpers on my hatshelf to squelch its rattling against the bar.

Pretty much. There aren't really any better than the other.

He won't be using a rear one with a Spyder though.;)

I like the looks of this one, but its kinda pricey... http://www.machv.com/freeddesstru.html
