Who has the highest mileage motor with absolutely no type of rebuild done?

104k miles on car then the drivetrain was pulled to be put in a later model shell and I bought the 95 shell

I have 200,345 on my 99 GSX. Still pulls good for a stock car. When I bought it with 178,3xx I replaced the original clutch. When I took out the clutch and looked at it, the disk looked brand new other than a broken spring and some dust. The disk material still had the swirls in it and everything. I bought the car and the previous owner thought a studder was the clutch slipping which is why I replaced it. Turned out to be plugs... But, the compression was 180-180-160-180 when I bought it. The car had a rebuilt head put on it around 156K and he rebuilt the T-25. The original head burnt a valve so he replaced the whole head. Still original shortblock and trans though. I want to make the engine last for as long as possible and take care of it. But at the same time I have a 6 bolt at the machine shop for it so I kinda wish it would give up.:D

I've got about 197,xxx on my Talon now. Original block and head never been rebuilt but I've done a head gasket on it since I've had it. The 14b is also original with the same mileage but the transmission was toasted when I bought it. The nut behind the cover on the trans backed off on the previous owner. It cracked the cover and and all the fluid leaked out. He told me it locked up going about 40mph and he didn't know why. The car was untouched before I got it almost 8 years ago now and I drive it everyday.

193K on the gst, still runs strong. Head gasket hasen't even been changed yet.

200,280 on a 1.8 DD body looks like shyt but shes getting torn down this spring and a fresh rebuilt 4g63t is going in place of it ( along with countless amounts of body work )

This isn't an engine, but two seasons ago dacowgod was running a 100% stock, 221k-old 2G transmission behind his built 6-bolt. I thought that was pretty remarkable considering the car dynoed 457whp with this old trans.

Once the G4CS / HX40 combo was dropped in, the transmission didn't last much longer.

My first DSM(90 gst) cracked the #1 piston at 178k. I believe it was more or less the result of a bad, immature tune, LOL. It pulled 145psi across the board a week earlier.

My Talon before this one, I pulled the tranny out of the jyard and the donor car had 190k on it. Trans shifted like butter and never had a problem with it.

I drove a 1g for sale that had 220k and it ran pretty good. Supposedly all original engine

I had 181,000 on the stock motor when I switched to a 2.3. The bottom
end was still in good shape, it was the head blowing that prompted me to
change it up. The stock rods and pistons actually looked really good...just
before I tossed 'em in the recycle bin.

my eclipse just hit 987,000, hoping to hit a mil soon

987k? No offense but I have a hard time buying that. If it's a 95 that means it's seen about 60k miles yearly without stop, while still on every stock internal part. That's a LOT of driving. I'm a pretty busy guy used to making long commutes to work and I've never been over 20k in a year.

Mine got 148k then it crankwalked but was still running. You could yank the wheel to "throw the crank" back over so it would get off the crank sensor and would run right again. Took it apart and the block still had the crosshatching in it, tranny shifted perfect, and the head is fine except for looking like a grungy butt.

Lol, of course it's not real.

However, I've managed 30K a year on a car, and it takes an hour or two a day, 5-6 days a week to do so. It's heavy on your pocket book though.

My old 83 Accord had 347,000 miles on the original clutch and trans, and engine if I recall. My dad tried to rebuild the carburetor and messed up. He sucked a crap load of antifreeze inside it and seized the engine when it started. However, the engine was already dying with like 110 psi per cylinder.

My DSM has 78K miles, and the trans is being weird. The engine is fine though.

ha...wish i could of shown my buddy before he sold his TSi (a 97 Tsi with 63k...sold for fear of blowing it up...LOL)
