Take off needles and put back on,,dont try to force up to where it should be,,just kinda put them on halfass so they dont click down and require alot of force to move again. Then once there in the right spot clickdown and make it official....

Know around where you idle at,match it up to that?? Reving may be hard unless you wanna match it up as you hit the rev limiter or something

Recalibrating the tach would be easy if you have a stutterbox.

I'm just going to recalibrate my tach according to my aftermarket autometer tach.

Sorry to bring up a dead thread but I have these same exact gauge faces (they match my boost gauge real well). My question is, did you buy the intelliglow needles as of yet? I am still deciding whether I want red or orange...thanks if you have pics it would be awesome to see either.
