Who all here uses the Super AFC and MAF Translator Togeather?

Exactally what it says above.... Who uses the Super AFC and MAF Translator togeather? Do you notice any thing over just using the AFC or MAF Translaotr alone. I already have the MAF on my car and it is kind tuned... but I was given a AFC and told it was a better unit.... But I should use them togeather so I spool faster and my controll is more accurate? That sound right? But something about setting all the settings on the MAF to "0" so it does not actually tune anything>?

My maft is under the hood(to lazy to extend wires and to cheap to buy extension), so i just tune with the afc.
Plus i was already tuned with afc before i got the maft and gm maf.
I tired tuning the maft once, and zerod out my afc. But it was a bi*** driving, pulling over and popping hood and adjusting the maft.
so I just went back to orginal settings.

But yes, if your maft is easily accesible, get a good base tuning with maft, then fine tune with the afc.

I also have the SAFC.MAFT combo....the MAFT is under the hood. As soon as I figure out the perfect setting for the MAFT, then fine tuning the SAFC will become much easier.

can you run a gm maf and a maf translator with a 1g mas???

you only need the MAF Translator for a GM maf, which replaces the 1g/2g maf. It would be pointless to have it in there without the gm maf. Using the afc on stock 1g/2g maf alone is fine.
