white smoke at times

a few weeks ago something wierd sarting happening to my car. i would hit it and it would start choking or something. it would back fire alot so i and then eventually i would stop and white smoke comes from the open down pipe and it smells like oil. it happens once in awhile and it happens when you stop. i still think its wierd because its random. any body might know what it could be? Also plugs 1 and 3 have a liltle oil on them when i took them off.

Have you done any serious work on your car latelly cause after i rebuilt my tranny my brother helped me put my car back together and it started blowing white smoke after i gave it boost and let off it would poor out the back of my car. Found out it was because my brother hooked the house from the valve cover that catches the oil to the egr valve and it would send the oil out threw the exhaust. Everyone else thought it was my rings.

no not realy. Just noticed that it does it when the fans are on

...I hope this isn't thed case with your vehicle dude but white smoke could indicate a head gasket problem....What's the condition of your oil when you check it?? I hope it's not "chocolate milky"...

oil is ok. just found out that the turbo has oil coming out of it

I'm having the same exact problem, I changed my oil and it seems good, not anywhere near chocalately milk, the car doesn't overheat and runs good. Some told me to check the barrings in the turbo. How did you figure out if was your turbo?

if you look at your turbo where the oil line is connected you see oil on it as ifit was coming out of there check if yours has that but somebody told me it was the bearings in the turbo 2 so i hope its that so i need a turbo now
