White smoke at startup

I have a 94 Eagle Talon... I got some kind of problem... When I start it up it smokes white smoke for a little bit. When i drove down the street or around the block and come back the white smoke has gone away.... Could anyone tell me what might be the problem? Thanks

It could just be cold or like my car was, bad turbo seals

It's more than likely water in the exhuast system, normal at startup in colder weather. Mine does it all the time during this time of year. Changing the oil/filter won't change anything...but should be done if it's time.

Im not sure how much your cars smoke at this time of year. Mine is excessive for 3-5 minutes... And im sure it wont pass emissions if it is like that... I had just gotten the car and before I got it, it had been sitting in a garage for 1 and a half years. I was thinking that the the oil and fuel filters needed to be changed along with the oil.

My car did that for a while, but the problem i found was the head gasket seals were old and leaking oil which caused my car to smoke at start up. So i replaced the seals and the car is fine now.

Wow, guys.. every car on the planet has white smoke during the winter and especially in the morning. Yes.. it lasts for more than 3-5 minutes sometimes.

Yea I know that about the winters, But I live in Texas and it is still hot out.. I would expect that in the winter... but this is like middle of 90 degree weather when it does this...

From a cold start yea... but once I get going in it and come back everything is fine...
