Hi, I have just done a 6 bolt swap still trying to work out all the kinks. I'm have a N/A 1g intake manifold to a 2g TB ( until my 1g comes in) but I don't think its leaking. The whirring noise is louder almost than the exhaust, I don't really know what to look for. Could a belt be to tight? Here is a vid of it-

I had a similar sound, and it ended up being the throw out bearing on the clutch assembly. Might wanna try looking over a few more things before you go rip the trans out though. could be the belts, maybe a tensioner or idler pulley of the timing track? water pump going out due to bearing failure possibly?

can you hear where about the noise if coming from? Transmission? engine head, block, timing track? that could help us point out the issue
