which way does my chip go in

i have a stage 3 mitsubishi specialties eprom chip. that cheap one on ebay. i socketed the ecu with no probs, but i don't know if i installed it correctly. i put it in with the writing facing the same way as the stock chip, but the directions don't say which way to put it in? i did a search and found nothing... thanks in advance! even if your chip is a different brand

One end should have a little "D" shape cutout, viewed from the top. Match that.
