Im looking for a 3" turboback exhaust. Ive used the search button many times and it brings up way to many.

What im looking for is one that isnt loud (ricer type) at all. One that is 3", O2 eliminator, and cat back, no cat.

Ive read about the RNR, N1, and a few others.

I DO NOT want to order from rnr seeing how there customer service is ***t. If someone could point me in the right direction and help me out that would be great. Just let me know what exhausts and where to buy them and that could help.

Thanks

you could try a VRS system from SlowBoyRacing.

no exhausts for the turbo cars are ricey. I have yet to hear someone say "my exhaust sounds ricey." So, go with whatever system you like. I just chose VRS because they are cheap, mandrel bent, and ship fast.

nope i went with normal steel.. I think i can handle it if my exhaust gets a few stains on it.

I did not do the dump tube because I didnt want to sound like a fire extinguisher at WOT.

I have been running a VRS for about 1.5 years now. Sounds great.

I bought SS cause I live in the Northern states and the streets are covered in salt 5 months of the year. I drive this everyday and do NOT put it away for the winter.

I don't know how you planned on running any Apexi in an o2 elim setup. Your choices if you are set on getting o2 elim are few. VP, RNR, extreme, custom... I would recommend a ported o2 and a normal turboback, and since you are in a very populated area... buying one used from a local dsm owner. If you have the money for one new, go ahead and get it from a trusted source, and a quality unit. Buschur, RRE come to mind.

 , when was this a question?

VRS is also avaliable in o2 eliminator style. I have it. The magnaflo muffler is the the N1 style.

As far as using the Apexi stuff (just more money). He can get the o2 eliminator DP and from the cat back run an Apexi system. It is not that hard or complicated of a thing to accomplish. The VRS DP-to-Cat flange is the same bolt pattern as anyone else. It is the o2 housing and DP that are 3 bolt falnged.

I have the Greddy Evo2 rolling from a stock O2 (getting a 16g soon), 2.5in->flex->3in->greddy 3in back. It is AMAZINGLY quiet and still nice and deep, I can make some clips if you want... just PM me

There's also Hahnracecraft. They've got a nice 3" 02 eliminator downpipe. You can also get a thermal catback from them which they can modify to mate to their downpipe with a straight pipe or cat, your choice. That's what I'm running, and I have no complaints. :)

i would say VRS but they messed up on mine exhaust...it was suppose to be a direct fit but i had to take it to a shop because everything but the DP matched up with the hangers. :thumbdown

I had some issues, but mostly it was DP and oil filter that got me pretty heated. Some of the welds on the flanges were not up to par. The hangers were close enough to use, but I had to use 3 spacers (rubber shift boots) to keep the exhaust from tapping the driver side of the car.

Other than that it was pretty good. Sounds like alot, but it all worked out.
