Which transmission?

Hi folks. Can you guys help me determine which model transmission is in my eclipse? It is a 1999 Non turbo GS and has a 14 bolt pan. I am getting alot of parts together for the car and this is the last part I plan to get.......transmission filter kit. Every where I have gone and all websites show 2 different filter kits for a 14 bolt pan. Conveniently....most retailers have to order the filter kits so I want to order the correct one the first time. I dont want to get the car up on ramps...drop the pan and see a different filter. Is there anything I can look for before dropping the pan to determine the correct filter to order? One filter ive seen is square and has a round tube coming up off of it with an o-ring that does up unto the trans...the 2nd filter is an odd shape and has a flat square opening with a cork gasket just around that opening......both have similar pan gaskets. Im lost now. Thanks for any information.

If I'm not mistaken you should have the a604 tranny that takes the square filter. which places tell's you there's 2 different kit's with 2 different filters?

AC Delco and NAPA offer 2 filters.
