Which side up? (turbo gasket help please)

I have a leak between the manifold and the turbo so I went and bought a factory metal gasket today from Mitsubishi. Issue is the outside is folded one way. Just need to know if the fold goes up or down. On the opposite side there is a little groove and I was thinking if I took the manifold off it may have a part that fits into the groove but just wanted to ask here cause I know someone knows the correct answer.

put groove side down thats how i put mine and no leaks.

Don't forget to torque the bolts to 40 foot lbs in a star pattern. This will help from the bolts loosening up.
