i have a ported 16g turbo but the manifold is not ported to match. my problem is every gasket i put in keeps blowing out on both side right in the middle. the first one was a thick metal gasket that matched the port on the turbo. the second one was a thinner gasket that was not matched and the one now was a 3 layer and that one just blew out on the right side so im sure the left is soon to come. and its only been in the car for a few days. does anyone know what i can use that will not blow out and where i can get it? i checked the turbo flange already and it is straight and the bolts are tight

even though you stated that the flanges are flat it still sounds like they arent . did you check both the manifold and the turbo flanges for flatness.

use copper gasket spray on both sides of the metal gasket its awesome just hang it best you can so you can get the whole thing painted let it tack up for a bit then add a few more coats front and back.
