1G Which shocks from this selection (Eclipse 1G)

Koni, Bilstein, and Monroe are the only brands that I would personally run from that selection. Some of those brands I've never even heard of.

For a 1g eclipse; I don't think many of those brands even offer fitment for this platform. I would buy Bilstein if they did (I mean I actually would buy some if I found any). KYB is the OEM supplier for the struts. They may not be the best ever, but I think they will be 100% factory fit. They make an OEM-level and an adjustable "premium" model (AGX). I think Koni used to make inserts, but has discontinued them. There are some other brands, but basically just OE-replacement level. Then there specialty aftermarket brands, but obviously cost goes up a lot on those. They often get paired with matching springs and sway bars to work properly.

Ah ok - the link didn't work. So this is what they say will match the car. No names I know, I have not heard of them. However I do not know much about this so if I wanted Bilstein or whatever, I do not know what ones will fit! Total beginer you see!

Thanks! This is what the link should have been (see attached). So do I get these do you think?

Also - I am not sure about the springs. Is there a specific size etc? I have only seen lowering springs for this car so far.

I know of Sachs as a respected brand, but I'd probably stick with the KYB. Sort of a sure thing. You may have to do a little research for springs; like a new post, too. I would guess that so many folks replace useable OEM springs with high-performance models, you could find someone with the OEM springs just looking to get rid of them. You might also consider the front strut mounts- they feature a bearing that allows the strut to rotate smoothly, and they have a big rubber bushing that can crack and get flimsy with age. Other bushings also might need replaced, like Black'98dsm suggested.
Is the car Front Wheel or All Wheel Drive? Year? Miles?
