I have some RC 550cc injectors but have not put them in due to no piggyback to control fuel flow.
my mods
16g ported/clipped
2g manifold
38mm Tial wastegate
3inch turboback
FMIC
190lph pump
-6an line from tank to rail
SX fuel filter
Aeromotive FPR

With all this said, which piggyback best suit my mods. The ones I'm looking into: Old knob style SAFC, SAFC II, MAFT.

I need something that'll work at a good price.
Will the knob style work good. I heard they work better with more stock size injectors, because of there smaller fuel correction compared to the newer SAFC but will it work good with 550cc injectors

i have almost the exact same mods as you and i run a s-afc II. it works fine. i can do my tuning on a dyno and logger and make more power, control my injectors, etc. however, i think it is worth it to save for dsmlink. don't get me wrong, the afc works. but i long for more adjustability and DIRECT control over timing and easier adjustment for injectors and such. also, having the logger/tuning device all in one *spot* would make my life easier. if you are on a budget, get the older s-afc. i would NOT reccommend the knob style as i can barely tune how i like with the s-afc II. i have only had my afc for a few months and am looking at buying dsmlink soon......learn from me: mod once-mod correct!

Since you listed 2G manifold as a "mod" I'm guessing you're a 1G so I'd recommend a custom EPROM chip to compensate if you have an ECU with EPROM or are willing to buy one. Otherwise, a MAFT would be my second choise so you could do away with your 1G MAFT at the same time. SAFC off ebay would be my budget choice. Good luck!

Where is that? I never knew they came out with DSMLink for 1g's. Yep cars a 1g 6bolt/4bolt. I just want a fuel control that'll be simple enough to control the 550cc injectors.

I'm talking about the 2g version in a 1g. You can find instructions for it through NABR (but if you don't know what you're doing, don't try it). The 2g version supports some features that Tom and Dave have said won't be possible with the OBD1 1g version.
