REGISTERS INTAKE BOOST SO i COULD RUN A LINE DIRECTLY FROM THE tb TO THE ACTUATOR UNTIL I GET THE PLUG OUT OF THE TURBINE HOUSING SO i CAN HOOK MY MBC?
SORRY FOR THE CAPS AS I AM A BIT FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW AND NEED AN ANSWER SO I CAN DRIVE THE CAR AND GET THIS CORRECTED.NEW 50 TRIM. MARK
 
I know that the correct one to tap on the TB is P for a boost gauge if that helps
 
I know if you T the line going from your intake manifold to the bov nipple, that will work.

this is what i did, and yust put ypur mbc in between

and @ EclipseGst303... wtf? give an answer that doesn't suck
 
I am not sure what the question is then, one end goes to the line that goes to your intake manifold and BOV and the other goes to the waste gate.
 
First if you read my post #303 you would see that I said I WAS SORRY for the caps. I'm sorry for you also as you must be a lonely guy, no girlfriend, frustrated, etc. I can help you with a relationship with the lord. PM me and we can start a Bible study over the line.
What happened is I installed a new turbo today and did not loosen the plug on the bottom of the compressor housing so I could install my MBC.I am simply trying o test te turbo and boost but perhaps I can use the MBC as stated in one of the replies. I'll go back and see if I understand it as am slow to learnAs for eclipse303 his abusive language became too much last night so I responded as a moral, Christian would and that upset him and i understand why. We're all slaves to something, whether to the world system or the Lord. If Ihave offended anyone with my expressing my faith I apologize. i need to witness when I can and you guys are a good group! Honestly though if you don't have anything of any use to add, please don't waste the space.

Good luck with the MBC setup, if you want there is a good pic. of the way to set it up on here somewhere, just search for "MBC install".

On your one g you can tap off the top hose coming off the solonoid closest to the drivers side fender, The FPR is going to have the hottest signal out of the whole system.

I also publicly apologize for some of the remarks I mage to EclipseGst303. There is just too much downgrading on this site and I find it offensive. No, I'm not going to another site. I like tuners. How about we treat each other with respect. Some guys know more that I ever will about these cars, others are without a clue being new so let's cut them some slack. Well here's the whole story and i hope someone can help me. I installed an RS49. Before I installed it i forgot to loosen the plug on the bottom of the compressor housing. I will find a shop to loosen it so I can get a fitting with nipple in there.
in the mean time is there a way to use my MBCto get more than the 7 psi of boost I am getting. Please be specific if you know a way. Thanks so much. mark
 
If you tap off of the manifold and run a hose to your mbc and then from there to the wastegate I think that would work... with the mbc dont you limit the amount of boost the wastegate sees causing it to open later/ when you disire?
 
I'm confused. What plug on the compressor housing?

For the boost controller to operate properly, you need a pressure source from the manifold, and then you send the line to the wastegate. That's all. You don't need anything on the compressor housing.

I would not use a port on the throttle body, they all come from very small diameter pressure sources, which could cause a problem when filling the relatively large volume of a long vacuum line to the MBC. Use the hose going to the BOV for a pressure source.

Do we really need all this talk about god on a car website? I sure don't think so...
 
The Mitsu housings or i should say the lower IC pipe has a nipple for the boost source. My comp housing has a plug right in the compressor housing that I figured could be replaced with a nipple and used like the one in the LICpipe. I'll try the BOV` line.
Since you used the lower case "G" in the word God you are not a believer.( given your field of study I would think you would be more interested in the person who established the laws of physics) I have left many replies with a moral tone because I am tired of the swearing, the direct insulting
of fellow members and one guy who started his reply with "jesus christ". When the rules are followed and no one calls you a muther ****er, ridicules a member and says he should be shot I will not express my views. It shouldn't be too much to ask. Mark
 
I don't understand your problem? Is this a manual or electronic controller? If it's manual then you don't need to mess with that plug ... if it's electronic then use port p on the throttle body instead ( although realy you should get a source BEFORE the intercooler ) .. for now this will work for you.
 
I have the problem resolved. Here's what the problem was.My mitsu turbo's had a nipple on the oioe that exits the turbo and hads to the intercooler. The garrett has a plug on the bottom of the compressor that I never loosened before I installed the turbo. I thoughtI needed to use this port for a nipple to be used just as i described about how the Mitsu's worked. I tapped into the BOV line and it's working fine. I just need to fine tune the boost to work with my small 550's. The car goes into heated storage in 6 weeks and over the winter I will go to 720cc inj's, a FMIC and perhaps a 3" exhaust. Any other suggestions for mods for a 50 trim on a 1G? Thanks, Mark
PS: I have an EGT gauge, wideband a/f meter and a "Scanmaster" from dejontool.
