Are you planning on having this as a daily driver? If so, remember the factory manifold may not look as nice, but it flows pretty well. SBR also has a similar one which flows even better, I wouldn't recommend either if its a daily driver. But there are members that run some similar to the ones you are interest in with no problems. But if your just asking the opinion between the two you have posted, I guess I would go with the SLS manifold. Good luck in whatever you decide.

the cast manifold is probably more durable. i would go with that and save the money...as long as it flows resonably more than stock and as long as the flow difference between the two aftermarkets isn't insanely different, i'm sure saving money would outweigh the additional flow.

search around and you'll see a lot of DSM's go for the 2G stock manifold or the SBR crazy ported one. The OEM 1G is poopoo. cast is where its at. also look at:

good for replacement rusted junk which I would do at the same time
good luck though

He's right! The 1st Gen aren't as good as the 2nd Gen manifolds. I should have noticed that you had a 1st Gen car. Well, since your planning on a T3/T4 I guess you have no choice but to get a tublar setup.

I would pick the one with the lifetime warranty. I would also brace the turbo the the block and make sure you let the engine run for a while to allow the manifold to cool before shutting the engine off.

A lifetime warranty is nice, but do they honor their warranty? Do you know much about this company? There was a company out there not too long ago that had a smiliar product with a lifetime warranty (sorry, I don't remember the name) Their idea of a lifetime warranty was that it lasted as long as it did until it broke (WTF??) And then they went out of business...wish I could remember the name. Do either company publish any flowrates on these manifolds? I think your going to be o.k. though with either of these two companies, but I don't personally know that much about either one. Check with someone who has delt with them or has their products and see what they think about the quality of the products they sell.

I know its very hard these days to trust anyone at all, I did some research on them they been out since 2002 and so far nothing bad that I have heard off and the owner was very helpful with all the question i had and he did take time to ask my needs and what i wanted. Here is the link you check them out ## self, he doesn’t have the manifold for the DSM on the site but you can email him and he can send some pics, check out the project car too he did some nice dsm on their.
