which clutch to get

ok first, a question. are the clutch kits or a 94 and the 99 gst the same?

the reason why i ask is because i have to change the clutch. when i was replacing the starter i got one for a 99gst because thats what i have . but when i tried the starter it was too big. i went back and traded it for a 94 gst and it fit. does that men i have a 94 tranny? and if so does it take a different clutch kit?

the clutch kit should all be the same but the flywheel would be diffrent

Does the clutch fit on the trans input shaft? if so then it will be fine..

Count the splines on the input shaft 1g and 2g had differnt spline counts. I believe 23 was 1g and 2g was 21splines

The clutches are all the same, 1g, 2g, fwd, awd. The flywheels are the only differences.
