Ok so my clutch is finally starting to take a shit on me after 150K miles so I am happy that it made it this far but now I need to know which route to go. I was thinking an act 2600 clutch with maybe a fidanza flywheel? What do you guys think is the best combo for everyday street driving and can hold right around 350hp?

I've run several setups before and had luck both street and track.

My most recent setup is sweet baby jebus though -

Act flywheel, stock PP and 6 puck unsprung disc from clutch.net

I have $150 into it all - solid 7 for DD and 10 at track.

I personally Liked the ACT2100 with a 6puck sprung in my FWD car. Really streetable, less stress on your left leg. Rated to hold 416ft lbs of Tq. (more than a what most FWD can put down to the road anyways.)

I dont mean to threadjack, but I am in about the same spot as you are and I was looking at South Bend Clutch. They look like they make a good setup and have a pretty affordable product. Not sure if anyone else has any experience wih them or not, just throwing another idea out there for ya.

^^ You are fine bro I would love to have other people with the same problem as me that have different reccomendations!

But I have a question. What is the difference between sprung and unsprung discs?

You will want a sprung disk for a street car. I would go with a ACT 2100 street disk with a Fidanza Flywheel. The Fidanza flywheel is nice because you dont have to have it resurfaced just replace the friction service.

There has been lots of people saying their act 2600 have failed on them lately. I have the 2100 and a streetlite flywheel and they work great even though my tranny is failing.

Ya i heard the same thing about the ACT clutch, which is why I am looking at other alternatives. It doesnt hurt to look around.
