hey, ive been looking around and i am looking to buy a intake mani for my 2g and i was wondering which intake mani's are at the top and that i should look into.. any help would be great... :thumb:

I have done alot of research on this subject. I have decided to go with the JM Fabrications manifold when I get the money. The Magnus is another very nice manifold but a few hundred dollars more than the JM.:D

On a budget JM its alot cheaper and isnt bad at all, I might be getting one in the future.

There useto be a thread where they actually dyno'd ALOT of the intake manifolds, Including the stock one.

I would love to see that. If you find it will you post the link?:D

sweet... thanks for the information everyone... im thinking about sticking with the magnus mani... Thanks again

Thats the one that Im going with once I get the $$$ for it, Im getting the SPL racing IM, cause well it has the topend power and thats whatIm looking for. Post the differences or something once you get it and put it on.:thumb:

I would highly suggest a set of cams for you instead of the intake manifold. You also need some larger injectors, 550's just won't cut it. I was at 105% duty cycle on my 16g and cams on 550's. Get some injectors, some real fuel management and then some cams. The intake manifold can come later.

i have comp 200 series cams and dsmlink already but thanks for the advice:thumb:

Then update your profile. It's really hard to give advice when you don't know what you're dealing with to start. Are you still on 550's? I'll assume not since you would be running out of fuel. I haven't really looked at intake manifolds in a while, made my decision a long time ago. I hear great things about the JM Fab mani though.
