Which FPR to run

My fpr took a crap and before I go and put a stock one on I am waving the possibility of putting an aftermarket one on. he part store in town do not offer a m/t regulator for my 1g. They offer the auto. I know that the 1g na regulator is 37-39 psi. the 1g auto turbo runs 34-37 and the 1g m/t turbo runs 32-34. is ther some reason the stock 1g m't turbo is not offered with most part stores? Shuld I run a different stocker or go to aftermarket. At the moment I have the cat gutted, Air filter assembly, mbc, boost gauge, Header(stock was thrash when i got the car), ICP piping. I am running 15 psi right now on a mostly stock setup. Car runs great. Would it be a cheap upgrade to use the other stock units? Who offers a good not too pricey regulator. I dont know all the tricks yet so I am asking before I purchase.

Buschur offers an SX afpr with his own "made-in-house" bolt on lower housing. It's an extremely nice piece and is a COMPLETELY bolt on affair. The only down-side is that it's over-priced IMHO but if you can find one used you won't be sorry.

The stock 1G 5-speed FPR is 37psi. The stock 1G A/T FPR is 43psi. You can't use the A/T one without someway to lean the car out.

Scored my used Buschur AFPR for $95 plus shipping. Completly bolt-on affair. Mounts directly to the fuel rail with no mounting holes to drill or extra lines to run. Fuel pressure gauge mounts directly to the top of the fuel filter too!

I would also take a good look at the Aeromotive one, they're pretty good. I had one on my srt-4 when I had a return line on it and it ran perfect.

Aeromotive is a good name for fuel products. If you want something decent, spend the money and get the whole kit. Pretty dumb to buy a cheapy and watch it break after a few thousand miles.
