Haha, i get a kick out of peoples reaction when they look at my exhaust. They usually ask me, "dude, you got a muffler right?" i just reply with, "uhhh, look under there" They look and the most common responses are "God damn" or "holy sh!t...thats huge!" my exhaust hangs just a lil bit lower then my pumpkin, all because of its diameter, and its pretty damn straight :D

Kids around these necks of the woods believe that going all out is cat-back with a punched cat :| :thumbdown what tools...

Heres mine .. 3" turbo back mandrel bent .. with a Magnaflow muffler ..


Sucks its GST and a 1ga at that .. stupid rear axle..

Personally i dont really like the muffler .. i got it all together shipped for $575 so i couldnt complain .. but had the muffler not been included id a gone with the APEXi N1 .. The magnaflow just sounds more like a mustang or truck exhaust rumble almost.

I guess you can call it a 3" O2 eliminator downpipe(custom mandrel bent)

Imaginary 3" cat
3" ATR catback



I want to keep the down pipe 3" but bump it up to 3.5" then to 4"for the catback
 
4" is retarded .. air wont leave any faster on a 4" than a 3" and there will be no noticable difference really ..

Ditching the Magnaflow for something else because its too low toned? Hmmm...I didnt know that high-pitched bee-hive in a coffee can toned exhaust was in. If someone is going to say something about performance and sound yadda yadda, if you listen to the exhaust on many 500hp+ non-v8's, its all low toned, or extremely loud yet still low. Unlike the Civic you just heard pull out of McDonalds, and now your ears are bleeding, WW2 vets are running for cover, and you now have a headache...and he's still in 1st gear at 5mph.

Thats just my .02

Why ditch a muffler because its too low toned? Unless the muffler itself chokes your system, but you can always find a better flowing muffler that is still low toned. :thumb: Also, the lower it is, the less attention youre likely to catch. In my opinion, the N1 is an attention grabbin grape-fruit cannon. No offense towards anyone.

The best exhaust i have found would be the rsr it's full three ich from the o2 down and it is the quitest around it's perfect .. :talon:

i got a 1g so this really doesn't pertain to me to much. but ill tell ppl what i got. when i bought the car it had a pacesetter head and cat-back. if anyone has heard this it sounds like a really pissed off bumble bee. LOL. otherwise sounded like crape :barf: i had a friend with a civic SI with daul carbon fiber mufflers. sounded really really good. then he crashed his car and messed up one of the muffers. so he got a greddy cat-back. i bought the other muffler off him and put it on my car, and it sounds so so so so so much better. really deap nice throuty sound. :talon:
