Which DSM is more sporty?

Just like the title says. Which car do you think is more sporty? The Talon or the Eclipse? I think the Talon is more of a sporty car and the Eclipse is more luxury.

+1 The cleanest of the lot. I seem to have a herpes-like 1Gb Eclipse infection, but this last go-around I tried to make it a Laser.

Just like the title says. Which car do you think is more sporty? The Talon or the Eclipse? I think the Talon is more of a sporty car and the Eclipse is more luxury.

The word 'look', or anything indicating appearance, is not in any of the OP's post. Perhaps he meant looks, in which case he should define which aspect he is talking about. Otherwise, myself and others are going to think he's referring to the chassis, motor, etc... which is all the same.

Which one is more sporty, ...well let's see. Who has more money the Eclipse or the Talon . Whoever does, is gonna be more sporty. Although, I said the Talon, because I own one, and I figured Eclipse would win the argument because of the amount of people who own them vs. Talons. Talons are leading though for now

Eclipse....even though i love talons but rare to find....but i think they are both equally matched on looks both the wing from talon and eclipse are nice,the front bumers are both nice,the sideskirts are both nice,and the rear of both car are nice, i think its equally matched.....

there about the same, but i think the front bumper on the 2gb eclipse looks lil nicer, thats why we see talon with eclipse front, never eclipse with talon bumper ,, other then that there the same.

This is why the OP is confusing. By "sporty" does he mean looks? The 2gb Talon has a high-rise wing, a very aggressive front-fascia and 17" wheels, too. Since the cars are mechanically identical, this thread just falls under the "which looks better" opinion. There's been all too many of these threads since '02. Just more fail.

look at the 2gb talons though....wayyy more aggresive lines in my opinion....absolutely love the 2gb talons and I love the mix and matched eclipse's running around with 2gb talon front ends.

as far as sporty goes i think the 2gb eclipse looks more sporty than the 2gb talon, but the talon has a more aggresive look to it. I personally like the look of the rear of 2g talons. i would trade my eclipse for a talon in a second because they are so rare around here.

i have thought about just getting talon body parts but i would rather have the real deal. even though its the same car. i guess im just weird like that.

What I was getting at is, like the 350Z and the G35 coupe. They are pretty much the same car but the 350z is more of a sports car than the G35. Does that clear things up?

I am biased since i own both a 2Gb and 2Ga eclipse, but I have to say that in just the looks departmet, the 2Gb turbo eclipse would have to be more sporty from the factory.

BUT If I were to get a black 2Gb talon with 2Ga talon sideskirts and the 'rear window anamolly', debadged all the way around w/ that front 'nostral' where the eagle badge was bondo'd over. I think that would be sickest looking combonation ever.

Since I don't think this thread is meant to be for slightly modified im going to have to say the 2Gb Eclipse gst/x takes the win.

I see the talon a bit somewhat exotic, the rear wing, black top, and rareness, kinda like McLaren, Porshe...

The eclipse looks more touring race like, kinda like the other compact cars ie. Supra, Skyline, Civic...

So i say they both are sporty in their own way, just depends on what kinda of "sporty" do you prefer...Exotic or Compact

2Gb Eclipse with the OEM "whale's tail" spoiler is the definition of hotness, so I'm voting Eclipse.

However, if the poll was only regarding 1G's, I'd have to vote Talon.

Guys the best way to find out if a eclipse/talon looks more sportier is to show a picture of both the cars to a person that doesn't have an aclipse and isn't into the tuning world, that way they can give a better opinion into what looks more sportier based on the looks

ON 1gs I really love the Eclipse's Tail lights. It seem so much cooler being the red line. Long before Civics figured out it looks neat. As for 2g, I would lean towards the Talons and the Thumbnail wing.

No offense to the talon guys here but for sum reason I always thought that the wing on the talons was the ugliest part about the talon ..... Alot of people seem to like it though

Yeah I think I like the 2gb eclipse the best.I dont much care for the rear of the talons the lights or the spoiler.But thats just my opinion.I think that the 1g talons look the best out of all of them though.
