Which **1G** Throttle body port will act JUST LIKE a nipple off the Turbo?

Thats my question....My Td05 18G from greddy doesnt have a nipple off of the compressor housing. My custom SSQV requires an all boost NO vaccume source. Like a Nipple off of the turbo or J pipe or anything on the piping side of the TB plate.

My question is, which nipple from a 1G TB will be sourced from the piping side of the plate so that when I let off the throttle under boost....it will see the pressure build up like the IC piping instead of the drop like the Intake Manifold side. I hope I made all this clear and thanks in advance for the help.

Just tap a nipple into your IC piping.

Thats what I didnt want to do. I did that on my J pipe and my old IC piping set up and I kinda suck at it.....it would be much easier if there were a port and thats all I need to know. If not I will tap the compressor housing its self. Thanks Though

if you are looking for a place to refrence a boost gauge i believe its the one marked "P" on the throttle body, and the factory vacuum line has a broken green line on it,

If your looking for a place to install a MBC, just tee into the CBV vacuum line.

hope I helped

Thanks for the try...but like I said before its for my custom HKS SSQ. I HAVE to have an all boost source. When the throttle closes the bost pressure in my IC piping builds and blows my ssq open. If theres vaccume then it will hold the BOV closed and I will have terrible surge. My J pipe now is tapped with a nipple, but I cant use it on my 18G.

just a little clarification, nipples A1-A2 and E are before the throttle plate. If you really wanted to use the TB as a pressure source then use A1-A2 since the port for this nipple is much larger then the port for E.

Thank you.....so these see NO vaccume inbetween shifts, but rather more and more pressure?

if it's for a blow off valve, move your boost gauge source to the P nipple and put the vacuum hose for the BOV off the intake manifold plenum.

Thanks for the help. But maybe I should make this more clear. I customized my HKS SSQV. Its one of a kind.

In order for it to blow off when I let off the throttle the diaphram needs BLOWN open not pulled. Therefor, I need a source that when I let off the throttle, it sees the pressure in the intercooler piping to blow the diaphram open, rather than the vaccume that is seen between shifs on the Intake manifold side of the TB. Thanks.

So if it needs to be blown open, isn't it going to blow open when your boosting the car?

Well thats the thing, I have another nipple to top of the diaphram That see boost and vac so underboost the pressure is the same on each side of the diaphram, thus not allowing it to move, but when I let off the the throttle the pressure builds MORE under the diaphram from the IC piping source blowing it open and the vaccume source pulls it open. It works perfect....wont ever leak at all and will blow off under the slightest pressure alteration with out a single flutter or hint of compressor surge. Its the exact way the type S is designed with the bottom nipple.....only allowed for a boost source only. Only different between my custom one is that when boosting the pressure doesnt build on the piston like it does on the type S....thats why the type s will eventually leak...my HKS wont
