gauges, timers, etc are not maintenance parts.

Ok that's if you just want to make it a little faster I would get a walbro 255ilb fuel pump, 3 inch cat back exhaust, a manual boost controller, BOOST GAUGE, change all your fluids and stuff then you'll be ready to go. You could safely run 14psi. I think that would be a great start.

most people will know what i mean so if your not going to help dont say anything at all

i was trying to help, gauges, timers and etc are not maintenance related parts.

maintenance after you buy a used car, especially a dsm is, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, oil change, coolant check, trans fluid change, and checking actual maintenance related parts like ball joints, struts, brakes, etc.

take that $600 and get er in tip top shape before you start modding. it will make for a less expensive experience in the long run, a more reliable dsm, and a happier owner. :thumb:

Then don't spend it. Make sure you have fresh fluids (coolant, brake, clutch, oil, trans). Check the brake pads, spark plug wires, plugs, PCV, air filter, fuel filter, battery, tires, headlights, wipers, etc and get any of them done as needed. Give the car a good wash and wax and hang on to anything you have left. If your on a budget modding the car makes more sense when things wear out.
